BIOGRAPHY
Zelko Krakan is classically trained musician who performed music on four Continents. In recent years Zelko has started exploring Sevdah, Bosnian traditional music 500 years old. His mission is to establish Sevdah as a recognizable brand on the world stage.
Before moving to Vancouver, Canada he was a member of Sarajevo Symphony Orchestra and Chamber String Orchestra with whom he toured Europe extensively. In Vancouver, Zelko started Allegra Trio, they released two CD's "East-West Journey" and "Because we like it". As a Solo Artist he toured Canada and USA playing Pop and Folk Music. In recent years, Zelko has started exploring Sevdah, better known as a Bosnian Blues, traditional style of music 500 years old. Captivating music with beautiful melodic lines loaded with emotions. His mission is to establish Sevdah as a recognizable brand on the world stage.
